Education & Training

We are passionate about developing initiatives that respond to recognised need of individuals or groups and will work towards creating real opportunities for people. Our main aims are to;

support long term and sustainable employment opportunities by providing affordable child care for people returning to work or re-entering training.
create and promote training courses that encourage greater tolerance in society.
provide in-formal learning opportunities for adults and young people through our exchange programmes.
disseminate our activities at local, regional and national levels with key decision makers.

Training Courses

We offer equality training for child care practitioners which can be tailored to meet the needs of individual settings. Our training sessions include;

sessions aimed at raising awareness of issues relating to anti-discriminatory practice;

the importance of equality and the affects of inequality on young children;

useful resources that encourage anti discriminatory practice.

sessions on how to support children developing English as an Additional Language.

sessions aimed at exploring what culture is and means.
